Warranty and Return Policies

 

Our main goal is to ensure that all our customers are completely satisfied with their purchase!

Please read the following important considerations:

  • Only items that have not been worn and are in perfect condition, with original tags and receipt, are eligible for exchange.

  • No exchanges will be accepted for items that are stained, dirty, or altered by the customer.

  • Returns must be made within 30 calendar days from the date of purchase.

  • The customer is responsible for all shipping costs, including arranging the return to our physical address, either in person or via Correos de Costa Rica or Fedex

  • Carmiña Romero is not responsible for lost or misplaced items during the return process.

  • If the item to be exchanged is not available in stock, it may be exchanged for a different item.

  • If the customer wishes to exchange the item for one of higher value, the price difference must be paid.

  • Exchanges are processed within 5–8 business days after we receive the item. The customer will be notified once the exchange has been completed.

  • Under no circumstances will Carmiña Romero issue cash refunds.


Warranty Policy

All of our garments and accessories come with a 30-day warranty. This warranty covers manufacturing defects only and does not apply to items that have been misused. It applies to items on sale, accessories, full-priced merchandise, and layaway items.

Please consider the following regarding the warranty claim process:

  • According to Consumer Law, the period for submitting a warranty claim is 30 days from the date the product is received.

  • The customer must contact us through our social media channels, at Phone: 8384-2131
    Email: info@carminaromero.com and provide the following information:

    • Full name

    • Phone number

    • Order number

    • Photo of the item showing the defect

    • Photo of the receipt

  • To validate the warranty, the customer acknowledges that shipping costs are their responsibility and will not be covered or reimbursed by Böëna Boutique.

  • If the item to be exchanged is not in stock, it may be exchanged for another item.

  • If the customer wishes to exchange it for a product of higher value, the price difference must be paid.

  • Warranty exchanges are processed within 5–8 business days after the item is received. The customer will be notified once the exchange has been completed.

  • Under no circumstances will Carmiña Romero issue cash refunds.

  • For quality control reasons, all products are thoroughly inspected before shipping to prevent any issues.


WARRANTY AND RETURNS DO NOT APPLY IN THE FOLLOWING CASES:

Please note that warranty or returns will not be applicable under the following conditions:

  • Garments that have been improperly washed, or have stains from detergent, bleach, or color transfer from other garments.

  • Garments that have been burned or altered.

  • Garments that have deteriorated due to not following the care instructions indicated on the label.
